Lilian Adongo

Food Scientist

Lilian is a nutrition and public health specialist with over 4 years work experience. She is experienced in humanitarian projects including Nutrition as well as WASH. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Food nutrition and dietetics from Egerton University as well as a Master of Public Health degree from Gulu University. Lilian is passionate about research and improving the health of the community with a focus on MIYCN. She has hands-on experience in formulating nutrient dense fortified flour using locally available foods aimed at addressing micronutrient deficiencies among children aged 6-24 months. She has worked in different capacities including research consultant, hygiene and sanitation officer and training and monitoring officer. She skilled in other areas including behaviour change communication, Phase classification of food security and data analysis. She has also worked with different teams including Government, NGOs, refugees as well as the local communities

in achieving better health and wellbeing for all.
