Charchil Onyango Ayodo

Charchil is an expert in Tropical and Infectious Diseases, Project management and Research, Monitoring and

Evaluation and Learning(RMEL). He is an author and a peer reviewer. He has acquired vast knowledge and skills in microbiology, public health, molecular biology, and epidemiology by serving in both public and private

research institutions in Kenya. Currently, he is managing an antimicrobial resistance research project at

Washington States University, serving as the director research and innovation at IRPN and a consultant at

Tectona Consulting Group. Out of his passion for environment and food security, he has progressively offered

his technical support to a spectrum of multi-sectoral programmes and projects with focus on: community

health; integrated food security; livelihoods and resilience; water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH); sustainable

agriculture, agribusiness, AgriTech; climate vulnerability; change adaptation and capacity assessment. He

recently successfully supported a study on Nutritional service needs of pregnant and lactating adolescent girls

that focused on the access and utilization of nutritional advice and services.
