4k Club programme
Sustainable futures
Our 4K Clubs program aims to raise a generation of young Kenyans who are knowledgeable in agriculture, agribusiness, nutrition, and environmental sustainability. We believe that by equipping students with these life skills, we are helping to build healthier communities and a more sustainable future.
The Schools
We work with 4K Clubs in primary schools across Kisumu and Siaya Counties. Our program engages young learners in a variety of activities that promote agricultural education, environmental conservation, and nutritional awareness, fostering a holistic understanding of healthy living and sustainable practices.
Go, Grow, Glow!
The Go, GROW and Glow Campaign features garden competitions and a Music Festival Gala which offer students opportunities to engage in activities that benefit both their health and their understanding of sustainable agriculture. The Music Festival Gala, is held in collaboration with UNESCO Club Maseno University, Kisumu County Government, the Ministry of Education, and Talent Aid Agency.
This year
We hosted the second annual Go GROW low 4K Clubs Gala to celebrate the progress and successes of 4K clubs primary schools in Kisumu County. The event was hosted at Migosi Primary School on 26th July, 2024.
It was filled with engaging activities, including art, poetry, song and dance, public speaking, storytelling, trivia, and an informative talk on nutrition.
Its highlight was the awards ceremony, recognising the achievements of the winning pupils, the best school kitchen garden projects, and the overall winning school.
The gala showcased the hard work and dedication of the young participants and their commitment to promoting healthy living and sustainable agriculture.
