Peter Akomo is a Food Technology and Product Development expert with extensive experience in food processing, factory layout design, quality management systems, and nutritious product development. Skilled in applying linear programming for recipe formulation, he is a published researcher passionate about sustainable solutions for hunger and malnutrition in developing countries.

He spent over 12 years at Valid Nutrition, rising to Product Development and Technology Manager, supporting operations in Malawi and India. Since 2021, Peter has worked as a consultant, advising on food processing and safety systems, including projects for the Natural Resources Institute.

Peter holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology from the University of Nairobi.
